A UPS is an Uninterruptible Power Supply unit which:
– Ensures the continuity of an alternating power source.
– Improves the quality of an alternating power source by keeping it within specified limits.
– Compensates Load Power Factor & Harmonics.
Applications: Corporate offices, factories, hospitals, commercial buildings, data centers, BTS, Railways, Airports and so on.
VRLA Battery composition :
– Cells produce a set maximum Voltage (According to Chemistry).
– Cells are combined into batteries or blocks to provide a higher Voltage.
– Batteries are assembled into strings to produce the final Voltage.
– Strings are assembled into parallel installations to provide redundancy.
